SMEC STEAM Learning Center Expansion: Where Education Meets

Sprouting Minds Enrichment Club (SMEC), powered by Phoenix Love Foundation Corporation, is expanding into a full-service STEAM Learning Center designed to give students access to world-class science, aviation, robotics, and technology education. This center will provide year-round opportunities for academic growth, career exploration, and personal development—especially for underserved youth who rarely receive exposure to these pathways.

Students across Georgia lack access to hands-on STEAM experiences, aviation programs, robotics labs, and future-ready skills. The SMEC STEAM Learning Center directly addresses these needs by creating a safe, engaging, and forward-focused environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive.

Key needs addressed:

• Lack of exposure to STEAM careers
• Low access to aviation, drones, simulators, and robotics
• Gaps in academic tutoring and enrichment
• A need for mentorship and leadership development
• Safe, structured afterschool and weekend learning spaces
